Vienna-style rice with meat

Ingredients for 4 portions

600 g Pork
3 Pcs Garlic cloves
3 Tbsp Tomato paste
1 Tbsp Thyme (dried)
400 g Rice
2 Tbsp Paprika powder
0.5 l Soup
2 Tbsp Oil
2 Pcs Onion
1 Pinch Pepper
1 Pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. Peel and chop onions and garlic for the Viennese style rice meat dish. Sauté in a pot with oil until translucent. Add paprika powder and tomato paste, and mix well.
  2. Cut the meat into rough cubes, add to the pot, season with salt and pepper, and brown. Then pour in the broth, add the rice, and simmer covered over low heat for 25 minutes.
  3. Before serving, season with thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
