Pumpkin seed schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 portions

4 pcs Schnitzel
200 g Topfen
50 g Pumpkin Seeds (chopped)
1 tbsp Pumpkin Seed Oil
4 slices Ham
1 tsp Salt
1 Pinch Pepper
1 pcs Yolk
1 pcs Egg
3 tbsp Flour
4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
4 tbsp Oil (for frying)

Preparation

  1. First, pound the schnitzels thinly and sprinkle with some salt. Then mix quark, salt, yolk, pepper, pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil in a bowl.
  2. Put a spoonful of the mixture on a slice of ham and roll it tightly so the mixture doesn’t leak out. Then prepare a bowl with flour, breadcrumbs and beaten egg.
  3. Next, cover each schnitzel with ham, fold it, and bread it in flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels on both sides, then let them drain on kitchen paper.
