Add the onions and let them roast. Deglaze with the mulled wine and add the beef broth. Also add the bay leaves, season with salt and pepper. Let the goulash simmer covered over medium heat for 30 minutes. 3. Then add the prunes and stir in the whipped cream. Let simmer gently covered for another 30 minutes.
