Pork cutlet and potato pan.

Ingredients for 4 portions

4 Pieces Pork Schnitzel
1 Pieces large onion, sliced into rings
400 g floury potatoes
2 Pieces garlic cloves, crushed
1 Pinch ground cumin
1 Pinch salt
1 Pinch freshly ground pepper
1 Tbsp Tomato paste
1 Tsp Paprika powder
2 Tbsp Oil
20 g Butter
1 Tbsp Chives for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. Peel, wash and slice the potatoes for the schnitzel potato pan.
  2. Gently pound the schnitzel, make several cuts around the edges, season with salt and pepper, and rub with garlic and caraway.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and quickly fry the schnitzel on both sides, then remove and keep warm.
  4. Melt butter in the remaining fat in the pan and roast the onion rings in it.
  5. Mix the onions with the tomato paste and paprika powder and stir well.
  6. Add the pre-fried schnitzel and raw potato slices, pour in enough hot water to just cover the meat and potatoes.
  7. Simmer everything over low heat until tender.
