Bigosch is a traditional Polish dish made with sauerkraut, various meats, and spices.

1 Pk Sauerkraut
250 g Schweinefleisch
3 EL Tomatenmark
1 TL Paprikapulver
1 Glas Pilze
1 Stk Zwiebel
2 EL Öl
1 Prise Salz
1 Prise Pepper (from tde mill)

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the onion for the Bigosch. Cut the meat into thin strips. Drain the sauerkraut and mushrooms well in a sieve.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the meat with the onion rings. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Add the sauerkraut and simmer for 15 minutes until tender.
  3. Then add the mushrooms and tomato paste, and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
