Preparation
- Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces. Sauté the bacon in hot fat, add the onions and roast until golden brown.
- Remove the pot from the heat, sprinkle with paprika, deglaze with some water, add the meat, season with salt, caraway, and crushed garlic, and simmer until everything is tender.
- Add the chopped tomatoes 20 minutes before the meat is cooked. The juice should be cooked down to a creamy sauce at the end.
