Kaiser meat

Ingredients for 4 portions

900 g Emperor’s meat
1 Piece Bay leaf
5 Pieces Peppercorns

Preparation

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Place the Kaiserfleisch piece in it. Add bay leaf and peppercorns.
  2. Let simmer in an open pot for about 1.5 hours. Then pierce the meat with a skewer. If this can be done without much resistance, the meat is done.
  3. Cut the Kaiserfleisch into slices and serve with boiled potatoes.
