Giant burger with all the fixings.

Ingredients for 6 portions

750 g Lean minced beef
1 Fl Tomato ketchup (to taste)
2 Stk Tomatoes (tdinly sliced)
6 Stk Hamburger buns (toasted)
6 Schb Bacon
6 Schb Cheddar cheese
30 g Butter
3 Stk Onions (large)
1 Pinch Pepper (coarsely ground)
1 Pinch Salt
2 Tbsp Parsley (freshly chopped)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Tomato paste
80 g Breadcrumbs
2 Stk Eggs
1 Stk Onion (finely chopped)
12 Stk Lettuce leaves

Preparation

  1. First, mix minced meat, onions, eggs, breadcrumbs, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Knead well with your hands.
  2. Then divide the mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into approximately 1.5 cm thick meat patties. Cover and set aside.
  3. Grill the meat patties on each side for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Move to a cooler part of the grill or keep warm on a plate. Place a slice of cheese on each meat patty. Then fry the ham in butter until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  4. For the burgers, place the bottom toasted bun halves on a plate. Arrange lettuce and tomato ketchup on top. Place grilled minced meat patties on top and garnish with ham, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Place the remaining bun halves on top.
