Preparation
- The cartilage and the sinew are removed from the pork belly, then the meat is thinly pounded with a meat mallet.
- Next, the pork belly is seasoned on both sides with salt, pepper, and marjoram. The meat is then coated in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- The oil is heated in a large pan over medium heat and the schnitzel is fried until golden brown on both sides.
- Finally, the meat is briefly drained on kitchen paper.
