Pork schnitzel with poppy seed breading

Ingredients for 2 portions

2 pcs Pork Schnitzel
2 pcs Egg
0.5 tsp Garlic Salt
6 tbsp Flour
100 g Breadcrumbs
5 tbsp Poppy Seeds
500 ml Oil (for frying)

Preparation

  1. First, season the schnitzel meat with salt and beat the eggs. Then mix the poppy seeds and breadcrumbs in a wide bowl.
  2. Dredge the schnitzels in flour first, then dip in the egg and coat in the breadcrumb-poppy seed mixture, pressing slightly.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep pan, then fry the schnitzels on both sides until they are light brown at medium heat. Let them drain on kitchen paper.
