Pork schnitzel with pear and Camembert.

Ingredients for 4 portions

2 Piece Pears, large and ripe
2 Tbsp Lemon juice
2 Tbsp Flour
4 Piece Schnitzel
1 Pinch Salt
1 Pinch Pepper
2 Tbsp Vegetable oil
200 g Camembert
4 Tbsp Cranberry jam

Preparation

  1. For the schnitzel with pear and camembert, quarter and peel the pears, removing the stems and core. Cut the quarters fan-like and drizzle with lemon juice immediately.
  2. Place the flour on a plate – salt and pepper the schnitzels, then coat them in flour. Heat oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels on both sides over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Place the schnitzels side by side in a baking dish. Place the pear fans on top of the schnitzels. Cut the camembert into thin slices and spread over the top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 15 minutes. Serve the schnitzels garnished with 1 tablespoon of cranberries and parsley each.
