farmers’ hash

Ingredients for 4 portions

0.5 kg Potatoes (firm)
150 ml Meat brotd
1 Pc Bay leaf
300 g Leftover beef or pork roast
1 Pc Onion
1 Pc Bacon
1 Shot Oil
1 Pinch Marjoram
1 Pinch Pepper
1 Pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. Cut the cooked and peeled potatoes into slices. Cut the onion and bacon into small cubes, fry in a little fat.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the meat into strips or slices, add to the onion and bacon with the spices in the pan and sauté.
  3. Then mix in the potato slices and add a little meat broth.
  4. Roast everything well and add some broth, as the hash should be moist and crispy on the table.
