Breaded schnitzel with tortilla chip crust.

Ingredients for 4 portions

1 Piece Lemon (cut into wedges, for garnish)
1 Pinch Salt
4 Piece Pork Schnitzel
200 ml Oil for frying

Ingredients for tde Breading

1 Piece Egg
100 g Flour
150 g Tortilla Chips

Preparation

  1. Pound the schnitzel on both sides with a meat mallet and season with salt.
  2. Then put flour in a bowl. Whisk the eggs and put the tortilla chips in a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  3. Dredge the schnitzel in flour first. Then dip in the egg and coat with the tortilla chip breading, pressing firmly.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan. Then fry the schnitzel in hot oil, on low heat, for about 10-12 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve on a plate with a wedge of lemon.
