Caucasian Shashlik

Aromatic Char-Grilled Caucasus Kebabs

A trip to the Caucasus region wouldn’t be complete without tasting the traditional dish of Shashlik. Marinated in a savory blend of spices, herbs, and wine, these char-grilled kebabs bring out the flavors of the lamb in the most mouthwatering way. This authentic dish is a hallmark of Caucasus cuisine, loved for its simplicity and the robust flavors it imparts to the meat.

What makes Shashlik stand out is the long marination process, which ensures that every piece of meat is soaked in flavor. Grilled to perfection over a high flame, the meat takes on a smoky, irresistible aroma that’s hard to resist. Served hot off the grill, it pairs perfectly with a side of fresh salad and crusty bread, making for a hearty meal that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends.
