| 125 | ml | Olive oil |
| 1 | tsp | Oregano |
| 1 | tsp | Thyme |
| 1 | tsp | Rosemary |
| 1 | tsp | Chopped parsley |
| 1 | tsp | Salt |
| 1 | tsp | Sugar |
| 1 | pinch | Paprika powder |
| 1 | pinch | Cayenne pepper |
| 1 | piece | Garlic clove |
| 1 | pinch | Freshly grated pepper |
| 1 | tbsp | Lemon juice |
| 1 | piece | Onion |
Preparation
- Peel the garlic clove and crush it very finely with a knife. Prepare a marinade from the oil and whole spices.
- Cut the meat into strips and place it in the marinade, mix well. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Place the marinated meat along with the marinade in a hot pan and fry on all sides until browned. Peel and quarter the onion, then slice it. Serve the Gyros on a plate and garnish with the sliced onion.
